Rust was found throughout the building and needed repair. Home Depot was the tenant and it was not economically feasible to displace them during repairs. Conveyors and racking could not be disturbed, nor could work be performed during extended working hours. The Structures Group coordinated directly with the truss engineer. Each of the thousands of repairs was documented digitally. The Structures Group invented custom hydraulic presses and shoring methods to meet the owner’s needs.

Size : 400,000 sq.ft.
Materials : Steel joists, W-beams, steel joist girders, bowstring joists and girders, steel deck.
Scope : Repair of rusted connections and hangers.
